Forty Years
of Process
Firsts.
Now layered with an AI process intelligence moat and a circular-chemistry pipeline. All process technologies are owned by Paragon Greentech.
Four Process Firsts
| Year | First | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 1983 | LABSA at 90% active matter — ahead of the global benchmark at time of development | Deployed |
| 1987 | LABSA produced without Oleum — reducing colour and impurities (NDOM) and increasing yield to 1.47 | Deployed |
| 2000 | Indigenous gas-route sulphonation technology — deployed commercially in India | Deployed |
| 2014 | 100% SO₃ pure-oxygen route — eliminating nitrogen ballast and vent loss entirely | Deployed |
All process technologies are owned by Paragon Greentech.
Deployed IP

Novel Sulphur Processing — Zero-Discharge IP
The first fundamental redesign of sulphur processing in 190 years.
Atomised sulphur reacted with pure O₂ (not air), single-stage converter, closed-loop O₂ recycle, thermic-fluid heat recovery, condenser-based liquefaction. Six product lines from one platform, all at distillation grade.
Six product lines (all distillation grade)
- H₂SO₄ — 2,25,000 MTA capacity
- SO₂ — 60,000 MTA
- SO₃ — 60,000 MTA
- Oleum 22 — 60,000 MTA
- Oleum 65 — 60,000 MTA
- HSO₃Cl — 60,000 MTA

Drying & Neutralization
Modular IP available for standalone licensing into existing wet-route or gas-route lines.
The exclusive neutralization and drying processes can be licensed independently of the full sulphonation platform — enabling upgrades to existing wet-route plants without full process replacement.
Sulphated Substrate Processing
FAS, FAES / SLES, sulphonated cosmetic emulsions, sulphated specialty intermediates.
Covers fatty alcohol sulphates (FAS), fatty alcohol ether sulphates (FAES / SLES), sulphonated cosmetic emulsions, and sulphated specialty intermediates for personal care and cosmetics applications.
Pipeline IP
Biogas →
Surfactants
Methane and CO₂ from organic-waste biogas converted into surfactant intermediates. Drop-in compatible with deployed gas-route sulphonation IP.
- Carbon-negative pathway under development
- Targets 2030 fossil-feedstock-displacement commitments of world's largest FHPC companies
- AI-accelerated lab-to-pilot development
Algae → Cooking Oil + Surfactants
Single algal feedstock yielding food-grade cooking oil and surfactant intermediates as co-products. Land-light, water-recyclable cultivation.
- Addresses India's >$15bn edible-oil import dependency
- Fossil-feedstock displacement on a single platform
- Co-product process economics superior to single-output pathways
Concentrated FHPC Formulations
Add-Water Architecture. Active chemistry shipped concentrated; water added at point of use.
- 5–10× freight efficiency improvement
- 5–10× plastic reduction
- Last-mile economics rewritten
Pipeline programmes are in active development, not yet commercial. All underlying IP is owned by Paragon Greentech.
